One of the studio project is getting into the construction phase.
Before posting some picture I would like to mention some interesting things that show the different paradigm that effect the design and construction in China.

. the 3 storeys building is designed, simple and rough concrete structure ( with oversized pillars)

.while the construction begins the use of the building is changed into a center for kids including different activities

.the top two floors are slighlty changed while the construction keeps going.
the facade and interior design begins, it needs to adapt to an exhisting situation.

Activities run parallel, influenting each other, chasing each other.

The construction process does not follow a score but improvises, changes, develops around a tone>

This week end I visited the Beijing International Sculpture Park. The name lenght is inversely proportional to its charme. It seemed a post atomic relict, or a post Olympic relict.

While wondering around we found this: probably the biggest silicon joint in the world.
