Undeniably there is an international development kitsch style. A style made by man with few and confused ideas. A style where copy, emulation, skin, style, form prevail. Where did it all begin? What if Ludwig II is one of the greatest prophet in this?
There is something unbearable in a flat landscape: the lack of a limit at the horizon. If it was a numerical fraction that would mean having a denominator equal to zero. The ratio is undefined and we loose meaning.
Therefore the limit is what add sense. There is perhaps one word that defines a related interesting situation ( even if not sure how exact it is) which is apeirophobia. This unfortunately describes the relation with infinity as a phobia but could there be a light version?
Could we feel a need, an addiction to the finite? This line of thought becomes even more interesting if we apply it to life: could we have a need to know that there is an end? Otherwise everything loses values ( as in the numerical fraction).
Wouldn’t be ironic if, in the era of extreme freedom and extreme possibilities, we would desire clear limitations?

This is progress nowadays.
Se si vive in Asia in qualche stato democratico, o pseudo tale, o guidato da un Partito con mano ferrea prima o poi ci si trovera’ in una conversazione sulla Democrazia, quella alta, occidentale e migliore.
C’e’ sempre chi ha una fede per il nostro modello quasi cieca e vorrebbe che il modello fosse esteso a tutti.
Ma credo, sempre piu gente dubita. Specialmente se si guarda all’Italia (l’ Italia come spesso capita e’ laboratorio che smaschera certi meccanismi grazie alla natura farsesca del Bel Paese) che spesso diventa l’eccezione che confuta ( non conferma come si dice) la regola.
La domanda anche se su diversi ambiti ( politico, geografico, economico) e’ la stessa: e’ giusto credere che modelli ed idee universali si possano applicare?

Emancipazione individuale ed impegno politico.

Il vento è cambiato, ormai tutti se ne sono accorti. Ma il vento non cambia all’improvviso, magari non si vede, non si percepisce, ma c’è sempre un lontano battito d’ali che mette in moto l’aria fino a scatenare una bufera magari dall’altro capo del mondo. Se il vento della politica è tornato a scuotere i cittadini che sembravano ormai rassegnati, allora vuol dire che questi anni di apparente riflusso nel privato sono stati in realtà anni di semina a cui hanno notevolmente contribuito anche quei movimenti, che potremmo definire di ‘emancipazione individuale’, che hanno spesso sofferto anche di feroci critiche da sinistra.
