Opaque landscape

Today’s society praises transparency, vastness, visibility, fame, recognizability. I went to huang shan in the autumn of 2009. The weather, according to common opinion, would have been described as terrible. The view could not reach the horizon. No sunny breath taking landscape. A rather intimate walk through peaks that appeared and disappeared. Another type of beauty: opaque, silent, hidden, contained. I am sure Tanikazi would have loved it.
